The Plaqad SC app is a free, viral social media clout ranking tool by Plaqad.

Think of SC as Klout but a more beautiful, fun, and witty upgrade with fantastic user experience.

Using a few key social media metrics like the number of followers, engagement rate per post, and audience sentiment among others, the tool calculates the online clout or influence of users and rewards them with relatable, witty and funny ranks and cool badges they can share to their friends on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Whatsapp and Youtube.

The app rewards users with one of ten (10) ranks, each represented by a badge.

SC also helps brands and individuals looking to hire social media influencers and creators to determine how much clout these influencers have before contracting them. It also helps content creators improve their social media cred by giving them tips and tricks on how to create better content and climb up the list.

In total, there are ten (10) ranks. Each individual can score as high as 100 points, which are awarded based on factors such as the total number of followers, engagement rate, original post vs retweet ratio, audience sentiments and impressions. An additional 10 points are also given to people with verified accounts, giving them a slight advantage over the unverified ones.

1. JJC: If you have as low as 100 followers and are wondering if there’s a place for you on our list, we have good news and it’s called JJC. This particular rank is for new content creators who are looking to grow their audience over time. However, serious work needs to be done in order to be seen and heard by those looking for your services. We’re rooting for you!
2. Learner — Right after JJC comes the learner. Here, you find individuals with as low as 5k followers and great engagement rate. With consistency and strategic content, climbing up the ladder from here should be a piece of cake.
3. Crowd Controller — Having up to 50k followers or more is not a day’s job, so you already know that the crowd controller knows his stuff. However, as with everything else in life, climbing higher and higher is always the aim.
4. Trendsetter: The trendsetter comes right after the crowd controller. These guys are the ones who start trends and get people talking. It’s not exactly beans, but with effort and consistency, anyone can get to this category.

9. Superstar: A lot of your favourite celebrities are definitely on this list. Their influence is undeniable and the only thing better than being on this list is being an icon, which, let’s be honest, is not a walk in the park.
10. Icon: Need we say much here? Let’s see, individuals on this list are… iconic? There’s no denying these people’s influence as every single thing they post, share, speak on, is an immediate hit all over the world. They’re the number one on the list for a reason.
