My time as CEO of Plaqad has come to an end

After four years of building what has become one of the most promising technology companies in this clime, today I sent my last email as CEO of Plaqad.

When I joined Plaqad in January 2018, I had a simple goal: to provide a faster, seamless, and more effective way for brands and creators to collaborate.

The traditional agency model and the conventional way of engaging influencers, content creators, and publishers was and still is, broken so we assumed the very important responsibility of fixing it.

In doing this, we have made plenty of mistakes from which we continue to take valuable learnings. However, I am most proud of the progress we have made with each milestone getting us one step closer to our goal.

For that, I’m grateful to our users, our amazing and hardworking team, and the board for the trust, support, and guidance that I have enjoyed in these years.

I am also thankful for the support we continue to receive from our friends in the media.

I believe Plaqad’s brightest days are ahead. And I look forward to watching and contributing to its success from the sidelines.

In the meantime, I’ll be taking the next few months to explore other interests. I’ve always loved to experiment, and this time off lets me do just that particularly in tech and media, two industries I believe are the most critical to the future of mankind.
