Proud to announce the second edition of our Influencer Compensation Report. Influencer marketing, though relatively young, is a rapidly growing industry with an established relevance and measurable results in shaping perception and driving meaningful action.
In 2019, we launched the Influencer Compensation Report to help industry stakeholders better understand how compensation works and make better-informed decisions. It is an important resource for CEOs, marketers, brand managers, creators, media and all industry practitioners.
This second edition is even more robust featuring data and insights from over 5000 respondents including brands, agencies, influencers and content creators and consumers as well and discussed very important matters relating to compensation including influencer negotiation, influencer marketing spend, campaign ROI, consumer perception, measurement, influencer regulation, and other topics in greater depth.
Let me share a few insights from the report:
86% of consumers say they rely on influencers for credible information about brands and products while 55.4% of them say they will patronise a brand if an influencer recommends them, thus underscoring the important role of influencers in shaping consumer perception and driving meaningful results.
In addition, 70% of brands say they will invest more in influencer marketing. However, 40% of these consumers say they want influencers to be upfront with them and disclose paid partnerships with brands. This reiterates the call for greater transparency in the industry.
